Overview: Southland Outfitters is an outdoor apparel and outdoor gear eCommerce site. It has some community features designed to help drive traffic, but that isn't really the focus of the site.

Technical Details: This is a Joomla 1.0.13 site with all the basic Joomla capabilities plus:

• eCommerce - Full shopping cart integration with choice of payment and shipping options.
• eNewsletter - Bundled newsletter component lets Southland notify customers of specials.
• Search Engine Optimization - Southland scores extremely high on a wide variety of product related key words. This is thanks to a super SEO strategy that involves both the URLs and the site map.
• Multi-media Files - The site can display video files and even does a whole feed of the Outdoor Network.
• Press Releases - The site lets the store keep the public appraised of its activities.
• Rotating Banners - The frontpage and multipe other pages are decorated with eye-catching rotating images.
