Overview: Paradise Music publishes and sells harp music books, but also wanted to do a whole lot more than just eCommerce. Maryjean Zarick, owner of Paradise Music, really wanted to build a site that would compliment her recording, performing, and teaching as well as sales of her books.

Technical Details: This is a Joomla 1.0.12 site with all the basic Joomla capabilities plus:

• eCommerce/shopping cart - Maryjean is able to load her own merchandise, offer it for sale, and keep it fresh.
• File Storage and Download - As an incentive to register with her site, Maryjean offers harp ringtones for download, and also free sheet music. The download manager is easy to use, and allows Maryjean to really offer value that sets her apart.

• Latest News Display
• Multi-media Files - Maryjean offers online harp classes using videos. The videos stream right through her site using a nice plugin that allows registered users to view her videos, but not download them. mp3 files also play through the site.

At this stage, we still classify Paradise Music as an eCommerce site, but with her explosive growth in registered users, it probably won't be long before we reclassify it as a community site that also happens to sell books and CDs!
