The All Powerful Blog PDF Print E-mail

When it comes to search engine placement, content is king. One way to get content on your site is to have a blog component installed. The other day I was checking out how people were getting to www.freebeerbuddy.com. One of the keywords that people had typed in was Mark Dallmeyer. Mark is the owner and founder of Dallmeyer Industries Inc and Healthy Remnants started in 1999 with ideas on the health of breweries teas.

Mark had done a blog about a Boston Brewery event that he had attended and in less than 3 weeks of that blog being posted, www.freebeerbuddy.com was top of the list when Mark Dallmeyer’s name was googled. Now that this is being posted on www.corfun.com and www.orthodoxbiz.com I expect all three websites will be on the front page of Google When Mark Dellmeyer is googled. Check it out. How cool is that?

I know of churches and businessmen who have website but use google or other blogs to write on. That is OK but the content of that blog is not pointing to your site. The way to use the blog to point to you site is to mention your site in the blog. So many people do not know the power of the content that is put on websites that are search engine friendly, as our friends at www.corfun.com do when putting a site together. My comment about it is OK to use other blogs, just remember to use it wisely to drive traffic to your site. I look at blogs, and social networks as free advertising.
